It's good practice not to include internal traffic in your analytics reporting. The standard way to exclude traffic in Google Analytics is through IP address-based exclude filters.
This works fine for static IP address ranges, but what about if you want to exclude a computer whose IP address range changes (e.g. someone who's working from home)?
The default method that Google provides is based on setting up a special page on your domain.
I've always found this to be kind of a hassle and depending on your setup, it also might be difficult to implement.
Fortunately, on the Analytics Talk blog they've come up with another way to do this which replaces the special web page with a snippet of code that you paste into your address bar.
Very handy!

Hmmm. That is interesting, but it still seems like a bit of a pain to have to reset that cookie....but fun to play with if you have the time!
Thanks.

If you save the code as a bookmark then all you have to do is click on it to reset it. Seems pretty painlesss to me.

I visited these websites, and they have some nice information, CSS-Discuss Wiki in particular. I’m looking forward for some more posts like these.
Good Work!

Sounds all well and good, but as Atlanta Web Design says, bit of a mission really. Is it really worth all the hassle?

Ya Its good to exclude the IP address which we are working on for our site. When not excluded it becomes mess to track the visitors to our site. This will help us to know how far we have reached our real customers.
