Instant Placeholder Image Generator
The Dummy Image Generator makes it a snap to create placeholder images for use in a design or even to include when you're building out HTML code but don't have final assets.
For example, to create the image above you'd just use the following code:

Mmmmm... why would you want to let a third party include content on your development site, or even let them know the site's address (via referrer) or the dev site's users (by remote address)? Same applies to any other third party code.
Use with caution and make sure your client gives permission for this.

Or, if you're worried about privacy, use the URL to generate an img and just host it yourself. Quicker than making your own in Photoshop, etc.

A great tip for the right project. Perhaps they can develop an advanced version that creates a relevant image based on your content ;) It'd save hours wading through Getty and istock...
