  2. Jeff – glad you found it useful. From my own experience, there are still huge strides to be made in terms of writing properly for the web.
    The majority of sites do not spend sufficient time and resources optimizing their content for their target audiences. We try really hard and we still end up with content that has too high a reading level.
    The main problem as I see it is that it’s very hard to test your content with users. It’s not like testing the usability of your site or whether it’s accessible. I haven’t found any guides or guidelines on how to do this. Perhaps I’ll have to come up with something myself 😉
